Our holiday in the Ortigia home was fantastic. It’s been renovated recently and was impeccably clean. The new management were very professional and helpful, with useful suggestions about what to see and where to eat nearby. You’re just steps from Ortigia’s historic center and main attractions. We can’t wait to come back, and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable holiday in Syracuse.

The host was kind and ready to help, and the location made it easy to explore Ortigia, with the main historic sights and restaurants only a few steps away. Inside, the place felt fresh and modern, with comfortable, well-furnished spaces and everything needed for a pleasant stay.

The stale, humid atmosphere really got me down, and all the different scents they used to cover it up made it worse. The shower was so unpleasant that I wore flip-flops. Communication with the host was especially poor, and they seemed cynical and unreceptive to feedback. I was relieved when we could leave.

It works well as a base.
