La Maison des Rêves

The building's exterior didn't give much away, and it was a little hard to find, but inside their home was beautiful. The family who own this B&B made us feel so welcome and took excellent care of us. Our room was wonderful and immaculate, and the breakfast table had delicious homemade goodies. We felt well looked after and definitely recommend staying here! :)

A comfortable room with everything I needed, and a delicious breakfast. The management and staff were very helpful, spoke several languages, and were glad to offer advice or make arrangements. The B&B is in a really convenient spot between Siracusa's historical centre and Ortigia.

Everything was so convenient during our eight-day stay. The Archeological Museum is across the street, the Greek and Roman ruins are a few blocks away at the end of the street, and the other direction leads to a seaside monument. We took the 5€ red hop on and off bus almost every day, with the stop just a block from the hotel. We booked a junior suite but were given the big corner room with two balconies. They made a lovely cross breeze, and the AC worked perfectly. Everything was spotless, modern and stylish, and in perfect working order. The owner, Giancarlo, went above what we expected from a host. Breakfast was a very extensive spread of hot and cold food. Giancarlo and his father made perfect coffee and cappuccino, and the freshly squeezed juices were a real treat. There's an elevator, but the hotel isn't wheelchair accessible. From the street, there are about half a dozen stairs through the courtyard up to the elevator landing.

A nice boutique hotel with newly decorated rooms and a modern look. The staff were friendly, breakfast was enjoyable, and the rooms were pleasant. It’s five minutes on foot to the archaeological site and ten to the tourist area. Totally worth the money.
