Le Nuvole

The rooftop terrace was magical after dark. I stayed with my wife and adult daughter, and we all enjoyed every moment. The rooms were spotless, the central location was convenient, and the atmosphere felt genuinely authentic. We’re very grateful to the host for such a lovely stay.

Eleonara was so sweet and helpful that we felt at home right away. The room was clean and nicely decorated, with a very comfortable bed. There was water and juice in the fridge, and breakfast on the terrace was lovely. It’s right in the centre of Ortigia but still very quiet. We’d definitely come back!

A safe, quiet place to stay while exploring Siracusa and the nearby cities. We had no trouble walking around at night, and our car was fine too. The host was friendly and helpful, though not always present, and was reachable when needed. Check-in is self-service: you use a code to get the keys. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and there’s WiFi. The terrace was lovely, with decent views. There’s a shared kitchen with space to cook, bottled water, dishes, wine openers, and other things. The bathrooms were clean, although the water tasted a little salty to us. Most of the interesting spots and restaurants are very close. Parking is nearby but takes about a 5-10 minute walk, depending on what you find, and costs about 15€ a day. The 2€ per person per day tourist fee is extra and isn’t included at check-in.

Eleonora and her team were so kind, and I felt right at home. The breakfast and my balcony were lovely, and I slept very well in the quiet room. She’s done a wonderful job renovating the place, and the bathroom was great. The location is hard to beat, basically a block from the Temple of Apollo, the market, and the starting point for boat trips. You can’t drive on this street, but parking at Talete is close and worked fine. I did see a group of Germans get their car stuck at one point. Just be aware that the staircase up to the rooms is somewhat steep. I wish I’d booked a longer stay.
