Marco was excellent, and the apartment was spotless, with a really comfortable bed and a nice espresso machine. I only stayed three nights, though I could easily have stayed a month. The sea is just 50 m away, and the terrace has sunset views shared with only two other apartments. Highly recommended.

Right in the heart of Syracuse's old island and only a minute from the sea, this apartment felt cosy and relaxing. The balcony and roof terrace were lovely, and there was delicious coffee and a wonderful Sicilian atmosphere. I'd absolutely stay here again if I return to Syracuse.

The main catch is parking: Ortigia is pedestrian, so you need to leave your car about a 10-minute walk away. The apartment itself is modern and has a small kitchen, a fridge, and a nice rooftop terrace. It's near the Castello on Ortigia.

Marco was on hand throughout our stay, always kind and professional, and he made a real difference to the experience. Before we arrived, he sent clear directions and guidance for the Ortigia ZTL. He'd also left tickets for the municipal car park, which was such a useful surprise. We spent five days in the duplex, which had everything two people needed to be comfortable. It sits centrally but away from the busiest tourist streets, so it was easy to unwind and enjoy Ortigia. I'd choose Marco's place again if I came back.
