We spent two hours waiting outside the hotel during check-in, ringing reception without an answer. None of the three phone numbers worked, and the email address turned out not to exist. We did eventually meet a couple of guests, and found out the number we had been given wasn't even the one their host had provided them. There was no arrival information sent beforehand either, unlike every other B&B or hotel we visited. Maybe this was an emergency, but it seemed more like poor organization and service. Luckily, the booking platform helped move us to another lovely B&B, Di Antonella, whose host answered the phone as soon as we booked. That was a very frustrating waste of our time.

Breakfast and food available throughout the day were exceptionally generous. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and it made a very good base in Alghero. I totally recommend it.

Breakfast was just a cappuccino at the bar, and by then I was already very disappointed. The bathroom had no shower base, so water spread across the floor and made it slippery and dangerous. There was no shampoo, either. I had a cold night because the bed had no blanket and the sheets had already been used. Neither of the two mini split air conditioners worked. I had also reported that the TV wasn't working. The owner came in, unplugged the antenna, swapped the set, and showed me another room, then said she'd call a local boy to fix it. He never showed up. I can't be the first guest to have had this sort of bad experience.

We had the apartment all to ourselves, and parking was easy. The room was clean, as was the private modern bathroom. It's close to the city center, and breakfast was the typical Italian kind at the café downstairs.

The owner was attentive, and the kitchen had good equipment. Our room had a balcony and a nice bathroom. It takes about five minutes to walk to the city center, with street parking that's easy to find. Breakfast had a good range of choices, though no fruit.
