The room itself was nice and had new furniture, but we could hear people next door through the paper thin walls. The guy said the room would be cleaned every other day, but nobody came to clean or take out the trash. He canceled our reservation on Booking half an hour after we handed him the money in person. Booking emailed me saying my card was invalid, even though we had paid cash. I asked him about it on WhatsApp and never got an answer. We stayed there for the next four days, but I was worried the whole time we’d come back and find someone else in the accommodation. We’d rented a vespa in Sorrento and had to give them the accommodation address. If police had stopped us, we could have got in trouble because officially, according to this guy, we weren’t staying there after he canceled the booking, even though we were.

A cozy room near the station. I’d recommend it!

Naples is beautiful, but I can’t say the same about certain people. I can’t judge the property itself, since the guy running it canceled my reservation an hour before I was due to arrive, claiming my card was invalid even though I’d updated the details and the booking had been confirmed. The kind gentleman then stopped answering calls and messages. Looking at other reviews now, which I obviously hadn’t seen before, it seems this gentleman has a bad habit of doing this.

The accommodation canceled my reservation just before check-in, which looks like a scam, as other reviews describe. Booking.com said the card was incorrect, but payment was supposed to be made directly at the hotel. It seems they just got my details and that was it. DO NOT BOOK HERE.

My Booking.com reservation at Napoli Forever was canceled the night before I was due to arrive, supposedly because my card was invalid. I’d updated my card details four days earlier and the booking had been confirmed. I’d also emailed the property to check everything was okay, but got no reply. After the cancellation I called over and over and still received no answer. You shouldn’t leave people without somewhere to stay at the last minute with lame excuses. Learn to be honest and manage reservations properly. UNRELIABLE!
