I’ve stayed at this Masseria three times now and am always happy to return. It’s a peaceful, charming place for a few quiet days, and the owners and staff are lovely, helpful, and easy to reach. The rooms are beautifully designed and have walk-in showers. There’s a clean pool for all guests, and I’ve never seen it crowded. The location between Siracusa and Noto works well, and both are easy to get to, though you do need a car since the property is in a nature reserve. Don’t miss the homemade cakes at the breakfast buffet. I’ll definitely be back.

The room, Number 1, was spacious, had AC, and even came with a little rooftop where we could watch the sunset and see Ortigia at night. My girlfriend and I spent 4 nights at this wonderful Masseria near Syracuse, about 12min by car, and the atmosphere was so peaceful. Francesco made the trip special. He’s the soul of the place, always cheerful and helpful, even when his favorite football team lost 5-0 against PSG. He also knows plenty of good spots in Syracuse and around the Masseria. I’d definitely recommend this little paradise for a Sicilian trip.

We were enjoying breakfast when the cleaning staff entered our room. A few minutes later, my boyfriend noticed someone had been inside and took our wallets and documents, but we didn’t check the wallets then because we assumed all was fine. The next day, when we needed to pay for parking, we found that exactly half of our cash was gone. The same amount was missing from two wallets that had been stored separately. We hadn’t been using cash because we paid everywhere by card on our phones, and we hadn’t spent that money. This raised serious concerns for us. We reported what happened. The only response was an apology and that we should have checked the wallets immediately, so nothing came of it. Future guests should keep their valuables with them at all times.

We had a wonderful week at Masseria Testaferrata. The villa and pool were amazing, with lovely gardens and incredible views, and the location was great. Breakfast was great too. Francesco was friendly and helpful, with lots of tips for around Siracusa ❤️ Our rooms were very clean and comfortable, which really matters. We enjoyed the whole week and highly recommend it to anyone wanting to discover the heart of Sicily.

The setting was lovely and the staff were very friendly. Both the rooms and shared areas were really clean. It would have been nice to have glasses and a bottle opener in the room, and lunch choices were limited. Dinner at the restaurant, though, was just great, with delicious food and amazing service.
