The room was gorgeous, with an amazing view of Ortigea, and the furniture was exquisite. Of all the top-tier Marriott hotels I've stayed at, including Ritz Carlton, St Regis, and JW Marriott, this had the best service by far. They treated us like royalty, and it felt genuine. We really wished we could have stayed longer. This is hands down the best Marriott-branded hotel I've stayed at anywhere in the world.

The Ortea Palace represents a wonderful mix of history, design, location, and service. Its renovation of a historic 1920s post office is thoughtful, balancing modern luxury with the building's architectural heritage in interiors and exteriors that respect the past and feel elegant today. The location was ideal for exploring this beautiful historic city, and the staff were consistently attentive and professional. Frederica is very talented in hotel service. I was touched that you remembered I like my double-shot cappuccino with oat milk, and thank you for arranging that beautiful room with a view. Breakfast was outstanding, with a wonderful selection each day. The hotel fully deserves its 5-star rating across all categories, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting Siracusa.

Even with just one night at Ortea Palace Hotel, the stay felt like a special escape. The elegant, calm, intimate atmosphere made it a real pleasure. Anna at reception made check-in easy, and Silvia was just as kind and helpful later. Frederica mixed great drinks at the bar, and Paola looked after us warmly and attentively at dinner. Breakfast with Serana the next morning was relaxed and delicious, a lovely end to a memorable stay.

The hotel's location is unmatched, and the junior suite view was unbelievable. Breakfast was superb, and they did a splendid job accommodating my wife, who has celiac disease. There were limitless options. Sylvia gave us an excellent introduction to all the amenities and went above and beyond to make our stay special. Fredrica treated us incredibly well and clearly cares about every guest's experience, whatever their country. We had a 99% positive experience with the staff, which is why I gave service four stars. Marriott for the win, as usual.

The hotel is stunning, but the people are what made it special. Gianluca was friendly, professional, and genuinely kind from the moment we arrived. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and set the tone for our whole stay. Fabrizio also deserves thanks for making the best cappuccinos at breakfast and taking such good care of us each morning.
