The buffet breakfast had just about everything: hot dishes, cold cuts, cheeses, fresh fruit, fresh-squeezed juices, bread, and desserts in the center. Tea and coffee could be ordered at the table, and the service was very friendly, especially the exceptionally kind Polish woman running breakfast. Our first-floor room was lovely, with a small balcony overlooking the city. The hotel, which opened in 2024, has newly renovated, well-equipped rooms and thoughtful toiletries, including high-quality shampoo and conditioner, face cream, hair mask, and cleansing milk. They smelled wonderful and felt luxurious, in keeping with the spa retreat concept. Palazzo Artemis is right in the heart of Ortigia, close to shops, restaurants, and charming streets. Traffic is limited on the island, so drivers should stop just before it. We came by bus from Catania airport, and the walk from the stop took about 20-25 minutes. Communication with Palazzo Artemis was excellent from the start: several emails covered directions, parking options including valet, room preferences, and check-in time. It’s a modern, well-equipped hotel in a beautiful location with excellent service.

We slept well every night of our 11-night stay. The hotel is right in the city center, convenient but quiet. Breakfast was good with lots of choice. The rooms were lovely, clean, and well equipped, and housekeeping did a first-class job every day. It reminded me of the pre-Covid days when rooms were cleaned daily. There were plenty of power sockets and phone charging outlets. It’s a quality hotel.

We spent more than two weeks travelling around Sicily, and this beautiful hotel was one of the highlights. It’s right in the heart of the action, and breakfast was delicious, huge, and full of choices. Bruna, Antonino, Erminia, and Roberto were kind, knowledgeable, helpful, and lots of fun. Thank you all for making the trip so memorable. It was the perfect experience, and we’ll recommend the hotel to family and friends. We can’t wait to come back. Grazie mille per tutto.

The hotel was immaculate, the rooms beautiful, and the location perfect. The staff were amazing and attentive, and the food and drinks were great. When they greeted us at the door, I knew our vacation would be wonderful. Giuseppe, Christian, Stefano, Fabrizio, and the rest of the desk staff went out of their way to answer questions and make the trip memorable. My husband and I stayed at Palazzo Artemide for three nights last week, at the start of our Sicily vacation. I’d definitely recommend staying here.
