The location is great if you have a car, and the island is only about 10 minutes away. Walking outside the grounds didn’t feel safe, though, with no paths and crazy drivers 🇮🇹😍. The hotel itself was really nice. The rooms are a little dated but very clean, so I had no issues. Maybe I was just unlucky?

The staff were amazing, from reception to the restaurant. Breakfast and dinner were at their best, and we’ll certainly visit again next year. It’s very central and just a short distance from Ortigia.

It’s an elegant hotel with friendly staff and good food. There’s some parking for cars, though the hotel is quite a way outside the old city and the sights.

The service made our stay, with staff who clearly wanted us to enjoy ourselves. They were helpful, engaging, and fun. Special thanks to Antonio, Aicha, Natascha, Flavia, and especially Simone. We had a fabulous time. After a busy few days in Ortigia, it was lovely to settle into the calm of Hotel Parco delle Fontaine. Mature trees in the garden made it feel separate from the rest of the world, the pool was tranquil, and the bedroom was superb and spacious. The restaurant food was excellent, too.

We’ll definitely come back. The hotel is set in a beautiful park, about a 10-minute drive from Syracuse’s historic center, and felt like a peaceful oasis. The pool was a nice size, service was lovely, the kitchen served fresh food, and breakfast was healthy with lots of variety. There’s secure parking inside the hotel grounds. If you fancy a cold beer, try the big Ulysees bottle, 0,75l! The one thing to improve is the air conditioning. We reported twice at reception that it wasn’t working properly, but still had problems in our room.
