The owner was very kind and got in touch with all the advice we needed about parking and visiting Ortigia. We stayed two nights at the Nereo residence, just steps from the Ortigia cathedral. The apartment was beautiful and had everything we needed.

Matteo was a wonderful host, always responsive, available, and attentive. We were traveling with a newborn and really appreciated the family touches, including a crib, changing table, and small bathtub, plus the flexibility with early check-in and late check-out. The welcome breakfast on the first day and his great tips for local attractions and restaurants were lovely too. Residenza Nereo is right in the heart of Ortigia, within walking distance of the main sights. The apartment looked just like the pictures, was bright, and felt airy thanks to the high ceilings. The bed was comfortable, and the kitchen had what we needed for a short stay. The stairs are a little narrow with a stroller, and bathroom storage is limited, but those are minor points. We had an excellent stay and highly recommend it.
