Studio Alagona Ortigia

We had a wonderful Italian dream week here. The apartment was spacious, airy, cool, and thoughtfully designed, with a comfortable bed and a large shower with strong water pressure. There was a little courtyard out back where we could have a quiet breakfast and dry clothes and towels. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook lovely dinners with inexpensive fish and vegetables from the market, and we ate at an authentic table in the spacious lounge. The location was lovely, with a bus stop for the train and bus stations nearby, plenty of shops, cafes, and restaurants close at hand, and everything within easy walking distance. It's in a quieter part of the island, away from the cruise ship crowds. The washing machine and well-organized rubbish bins were a bonus.

The terrace was a lovely bonus, with morning sun and a sea view, and the apartment was clean and really quiet. Federica made communication and self check-in easy, replied quickly, recommended free parking outside town and restaurants, and responded immediately when we noticed a bad smell in the bathroom. We loved staying right in Ortygia and would recommend this place to all our friends. For good coffee, cornetto, omelette, panini, and more, Sapori Bar is two minutes away and has a nice outdoor area. A lovely place in Syracuse with all the amenities we needed. The seaside is only a 30-second walk away. Roberta was accommodating and quick to respond to our requests. We'd definitely come back!

We loved the apartment in historic Ortigia, Siracusa, and had lots of great food nearby. The host was great, and the place had everything we needed, including a nice little private outdoor area with a table.
