Mario was attentive, reliable, and easy to reach whenever we had a question. The villa is just a short walk from a local pizzeria, beach bars, and restaurants. That pizzeria serves the best risotto in the area. Noto, Ragusa, and Syracuse are a short drive away, and Catania is less than an hour away. It’s a great fit if you have a car and want both beach time and a chance to explore the region. Inside, the three bedrooms are spacious and have built-in closets with plenty of hangers. There are two bathrooms, both with double sinks and bidets, one with a shower and the master bathroom with a bathtub. The open living area includes a formal dining room flowing into a cozy nook with a large sectional and coffee table, plus a separate sitting area with a comfortable sofa for watching TV. The décor has an authentic Sicilian feel throughout. The kitchen is fully stocked and has a breakfast area that opens onto a large seaside terrace. The terrace has comfortable summer furniture, with covered and open sections for dining outside, sunbathing, or relaxing in the shade while looking at the sea. The villa also provides umbrellas, chairs, and bicycles for exploring nearby. The villa is tastefully decorated, cozy, and very comfortable, with lovely indoor and outdoor features and secure parking. It’s in a private spot just 30 feet from the beach. If you’re planning to rent in Fontane Bianche, this is the one I’d recommend. For us, it was the best place to stay in the Syracuse area.
