Bright Apartments Sirmione -Sorgente Pool 1

There are plenty of other places to stay around beautiful Lake Garda, and I'd strongly advise against dealing with Bright Apartments. The company owns over 40 apartments, but it seems they've lost sight of customer service. We were moved from one of their apartments to another after a power cut, and both places had musty smells. They were also prone to outages and the facilities were described in an exaggerated way. A very disappointing experience.

On arrival, our Airbnb booking was switched to an inferior apartment, and we were basically told to take it or leave it. They promised in writing to refund one night as compensation, but never paid and have stopped answering messages. Avoid this company if you care about professional service.

We had a very pleasant stay and would highly recommend the apartment. Communication with the landlord was easy and straightforward on WhatsApp, and they supported us well from arrival through departure. They even sent a video showing how to find the apartment and parking. Apartment 12 was in a quiet residential area behind a lockable gate, with underground parking. The apartment and pool were very clean. It had air conditioning, a well-equipped kitchen with an espresso machine, kettle, stove, and oven, though no microwave. There was also a TV, ironing board, and washing machine. A small terrace outside the door had a table and chairs for eating outdoors. For check-in, keys were collected a few hundred meters away, but the 24/7 key box made pickup easy.

The only real plus was the location. The apartment in Sirmione didn't quite live up to its description or the Airbnb reviews: it was dirty, the stove didn't work, and the ancient air conditioner rattled more than it cooled. Parking was a disaster at €18/day. Sirmione itself is completely overrun with tourists, far too many for us. You could skip it altogether.
