Hotel Casa Scaligeri

Tanina’s help made an already lovely trip even better. I asked for advice after we arrived in Italy during a nationwide travel strike, which had left people trying to travel confused. While I was working out how to get from the airport to the hotel, she stayed in touch for hours and offered several solutions. Once we reached Descenzano train station, she arranged a car. A hotel staff member met us by the beautiful castle at the entrance to Sirmione and escorted us to the hotel. It’s a small, modern place with sleek decor, in a great spot within walking distance of everything we wanted to see. The port is two minutes away and the hotel’s breakfast restaurant is about a minute away. Breakfast was tasty, service was quick, and coffee and orange juice were plentiful. Tanina was informative and friendly whenever we spoke, sharing tips for the local area, Milan, and Verona. For our anniversary she arranged an unforgettable dinner at a local restaurant for my wife and me. We travel several times a year to different places, and this is one of the nicest places I’ve stayed. I’d happily return. Thank you all for a great trip.

The location is prime, the transfers went smoothly, and breakfast at a nearby restaurant was amazing. We also loved the attention to detail in the room. Thanks for the kindness and hospitality. Our host, Tanini, went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and had a pleasant stay. She suggested places to visit and restaurants serving authentic Italian food. We highly recommend the hotel and will definitely return.

The staff and service were excellent, and the whole experience exceeded our expectations. One of the best hotel stays we’ve had, and we can’t wait to come back. La Rucola 2.0 is nearby, and its Michelin-starred dinner was fantastic, so don’t forget to book.

The staff gave us a little walk around when we arrived, pointing out good places to eat and places to avoid. They also arranged a sunset cruise, which was a highlight of our visit to Sirmione. We had a really pleasant stay: comfortable beds, quiet rooms, and a good breakfast. At a reasonable price, you couldn’t ask for much more.
