Hotel Clodia

I felt more relaxed here than I have at any other hotel. The stay exceeded my expectations. Our room was in a separate building, but it was spacious, quiet, and very clean. Breakfast wasn’t very varied, though it was tasty, and the staff were very friendly. Parking is free, and the old town is two bus stops away or about a 20-minute walk. I’d definitely stay here again if I returned to the area. Highly recommend it.

We stayed one night, just the night before writing this. The room was superb, with a terrace facing the beautiful garden, and the whole place was quiet and secure. Breakfast was amazing, as was the service from the lovely reception ladies and the woman who served us such a great variety of food. The location was perfect, and motorcycle parking was perfect too, though gravel isn’t ideal for heavy bikes. The price was very reasonable. If we’re back, we’ll stay here again.

We liked staying here. It’s peaceful and leafy, and Lake Garda is only a minute away. The room was pleasant, with a small balcony, and had shampoo, soap, and a hairdryer. Breakfast was nice, though I think it may have been prepared the day before. That was fine for me, but if you want something very fresh, a cafe might suit you better. The staff were all friendly. Free Wi-Fi and parking were handy, although the car park is small, so I wouldn’t recommend it for a large car or van. You need to ask reception for the air-conditioning remote. We didn’t know that on our first night.

The location was great, but the air-conditioning situation made for a very hot night. There was no remote in the room, and after 10 pm we couldn’t reach anyone to turn it on. When I mentioned it at checkout, the receptionist was rude and seemed not to care. She pointed out that reception hours ending at 10 were clearly stated.
