Villa Barbara

This isn’t a whole house, just one quarter of it, and the photos give a misleading impression. The neighbors behind the place, by the lake, are incredibly noisy. Inside, the furniture is old and badly damaged, and the sofas and blankets smell strongly of dogs. The mattresses are worn out, the pots and pans have almost no coating left, and old grease drips from the extractor hood filter into food while cooking. The kitchen fuses also blow if more than two appliances are on. We found leftovers from earlier guests in the fridge, freezer, and bathroom. The landlord acts friendly, but wasn’t: he wanted to search the house to check whether we had more guests than registered. The pool is a joke, barely larger than a bathtub. The TV doesn’t work because the internet connection is terrible.
