Villa Paradiso

Such an amazing place, definitely worth a stay. It's about 10 minutes from the entrance. My one warning is to leave the car behind, since driving around town is a nightmare. We saw a shuttle company that can take your bags there, and that's all you need.

The gardens were lovely, full of seating spots and kept in great shape, and we could park in the garden too. Our room had older furniture that suited the traditional villa, but it was spacious, comfortable, very clean, and had a nice view of Garda lake. The historic center of Sirmione is a five-minute walk away. The staff and owners were exceptionally nice. We'd definitely choose this place again if we visit Garda, and highly recommend it.

We had the blue room on the second floor, with lovely views, good AC, a double bedroom, toilet and shower, and a sitting room with a double sofa bed. The AC was much needed in mid-June and worked well. Our family, with kids aged 11 and 14, loved the villa. It's charming and beautiful, set in a park between the old town and the lake beaches. The hosts were friendly, and it felt like we were guests of the owners rather than just paying customers. There were cakes, croissants, fresh fruit, yoghurt, bread, cold cuts, and cheeses at breakfast, with sweet and savory choices. Coffee was made to order. We also liked being able to buy wine, soft drinks, and beer on a self-service basis, at very reasonable prices, since there isn't a shop nearby. There are several places to sit outside on the grounds. The one thing we missed was a pool. I'd highly recommend a stay in this charming old villa in beautiful Sirmione. Just keep in mind that Sirmione is completely a tourist sight, not an authentic city.

We only stayed a night and wished we could have stayed much longer. The villa and its location are unbeatable, and for that location the prices are more than fair. We'd love to come back.
