The accommodation was lovely and spotless, and our host was really friendly. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast with an impressive view of the castle.

We went for dinner after the place we were staying in town recommended it, and we enjoyed our meals a lot. We’re a big family, and they made us feel welcome and looked after us well. Everything we ordered was delicious. Eating outside in the evening was beautiful, and I felt relaxed straight away.

The room is small but modern and has everything you need. It’s an easy walk to centro and then up the hill to the castle, with several restaurants in town. Prices felt a little higher than in other regions. The breakfast may be the best we’ve had, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The setting is gorgeous, with lush vineyards all around the town. This is very much wine country, and the range is astounding, including many wines new to me. If you like Prosecco, try the Dura, it’s different and delicious.

We had a wonderful meal, both at dinner and breakfast, and the restaurant’s elegant terrace looks out toward the castle. The service was friendly, and the rooms were comfortable and spotlessly clean. A lovely place to stay.
