The restaurant serves excellent food, and it’s well worth trying. The area is quiet, with views over the lake. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the rooms and property were clean and well maintained.

Paulo made our family’s stay so special. He’s an incredible host, and the view from the property is amazing. The historic place has been lovingly restored, and it’s close to everything. There’s also a cute restaurant at the bottom of the hill with live music several nights. Paulo grows and makes his own olive oil on the property, and he has lots of local recommendations, so be sure to ask him. We had a wonderful time and hope we get to visit again someday!

The location was good, the views were nice, and the pricing felt fair. But the staff weren’t friendly, and my family felt uncomfortable during our stay. Breakfast was a rip-off.

Paolo, the owner, is really nice and speaks German. The grounds were clean and well maintained, and the pool is large. We stayed as a school group of 11 students, using three rooms with four beds in each. There could have been a bit more cutlery in the kitchen, though what we had was just about enough. Highly recommended!
