The owner made us feel very welcome, and breakfast was excellent. B&B Carpe Diem is tucked into a peaceful spot, yet Solferino's main sights, including the Rocca and the Battle Museum, are only minutes away. We could spend the day exploring the area's history and come back somewhere quiet to unwind. We'll definitely return!

The rooms and breakfast were excellent, and the owner was so friendly that she even showed us around Solferino and shared ideas for enjoyable day trips. Verona was a lovely extra stop. This B&B makes a great base for exploring the area, with the southern end of Lake Garda just a short distance away.

An gave us such useful tips that we had a fantastic time at Lake Garda. The B&B's central spot also makes it easy to plan other day trips. After a day out, we liked settling in on the village square with a drink and something to eat. There are plenty of good restaurants close by, too. This place really is top-notch.

That grilled cheese with the locals in the vineyard was unforgettable, and the visit to Ossario gave us goosebumps. We also got to enjoy the cheese experience at the Grana Padano latte. An's restaurant suggestions were delicious, and her tips helped us steer clear of tourist traps. She put together a great boat and hiking itinerary, and breakfast came with a new little surprise each day. We even brought the recipe for the Carpe Diem cake home, so a bit of Solferino is now in our Belgian kitchen 🍰

It's peaceful here, with some great restaurants nearby, and breakfast was excellent. An is a wonderful hostess and knows so much about the area, making her a perfect guide. The location is ideal for exploring Lake Garda and the surrounding hills. Hans and Machteld
