First Hotel Malpensa

We barely waited 30 seconds for the shuttle, and the drivers were respectful and quick to help. It was a great experience overall, with the ride costing 5 Euros per person one way. Drinks at the bar were pretty expensive, though. A canned Coke was 4 euros, so maybe bring one with you, haha!

We had a quick overnight stop before a transfer flight the next day. The hotel is close to the airport by car, but not on foot, it's a 40 minute walk. They offer pick-up for 5€ per person. By mistake, though, they called our room at 6 am instead of 18 pm. Quite a wake-up call. At checkout, we were charged another 12€ per person for breakfast. We'd assumed it was included based on the price, and they'd given us the breakfast details when we arrived without mentioning the cost. The croissants were dry and the bread seemed like it was from the day before, so it wasn't worth it. Better to find a bakery outside. The hotel is okay for a night, but the stay was disappointing and there's not much to do nearby.

We stayed here when we first arrived in Italy and were very pleased, so we're happy to be staying again as we head home after a fantastic two weeks. The hotel is modern, and the rooms are fairly spacious, especially compared with those in Rome and Florence. Breakfast is fantastic, with lots of good options, and there's a shuttle bus to and from the airport.

The location is just a few minutes from Milan’s main airport, making First Hotel Milano Malpensa Airport a handy choice for business or vacation travel. My room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable, and the quality made the higher price worthwhile. The staff were courteous and professional, which made the stay relaxing. The restaurant stood out too. The meals were fresh and well prepared, far beyond what I expect at an airport hotel. It felt closer to fine dining than a convenient airport meal. I'd highly recommend this clean, comfortable, well-run hotel.
