The pool was the one thing I liked. The room was furnished OK, but didn't feel welcoming, and with the door as the only barrier between it and the pool, I wouldn't have liked being there when it was crowded. The pool is public. The house is about 100m from the highway, so there was constant noise. The WIFI still didn't work during our stay, apparently because of construction work, and it sounds like the problem had already been going on for weeks, if not months. I was almost glad we had some rainy days. It seemed like everything about the place made you want to leave during the day, which is the opposite of what I expect from an "Agritourismo". For full transparency, I tried to judge things as objectively as I could. But the owner's response was misleading and came close to being offensive, so I changed my rating from 2 stars to 1. Communication can be tricky unless you speak Italian, since none of the staff speak English. The room was very dark, the bed was rock hard, and the pillows were lumpy. It sits right by an autostrada, so there's quite a bit of traffic noise, and the pool got pretty crowded during the day.

We stayed at this agriturismo for a couple of nights. The place has real potential, with greenery all around, a beautiful pool, and a genuinely welcoming setting. It's a shame the upkeep and cleaning don't match. The room was really dusty, especially the wall lamps, which looked like they hadn't been cleaned in years. We even found a dead bedbug inside. The walls were peeling and marked with rising damp, both indoors and out, and the room furnishings seemed dated and neglected.
