The part I really struggled with was the toilet itself. It looked like something from 90's Tailand, and when I opened the bathroom door I found a hole in the floor with ceramic sides for your feet. I was shocked and couldn't work out how to hold my toddler while they peed. The showers, by contrast, were updated and clean, and the bathrooms were otherwise OK. The rest of our stay was great: it was spacious and clean, in a quiet area, and run by a nice family. The pool was really cool, there was a donkey outside, and my toddler loved the place and the walk around the area.

It was calm and peaceful, a nice spot to rest if you're camping in a tent or cycling. The staff speak English, and there are tables to use. In the shared tent area, two adults and a tent cost €25, with a little shade. Pay €5 more and you get a whole pitch with shade.

The only real drawback for me was that the showers and restrooms were old and rather dirty. If those were changed, I'd give it five stars. Everything else made for a wonderful place to spend a day or night. The team were incredibly friendly and put guests first, even staff who didn't speak English took time to help. You can pick fresh kiwi, pomegranate and grapes from the trees, and the small campsite shop has a good selection of fruit, vegetables, homemade sauces and juices from the fields, plus beer from a neighboring farm.

I came back this year after thinking about last year's lovely, quiet stay all year, but this time was a real disappointment. Two large groups of French teenagers partied every night, shouting, playing football and blasting music until 1:30am. They took food from the shared fridge and seemed to be in the bathroom all the time, so getting to the toilet or shower was difficult. With around 25 of them at the pool, it wasn't really usable while they were there. Maybe the campsite isn't the main problem, but the people managing the teenagers are. The toilet setup made things even harder, since there are no regular toilets, only Turkish-style ones. The campsite also hosts parties and children's groups during the week. The kids were honestly very quiet, but the parties kept me from sleeping. You can hear every car that comes in, and it woke me up too. It's close to Verona and Lake Garda, and the staff are polite and nice. I just wish they'd set some rules for the groups, because my week of rest was kind of ruined.
