Agriturismo Olmo

We had such a lovely stay at Agriturismo Olmo during our wedding trip. The modern, beautiful room had an amazing view, and breakfast was great too. Thanks so much, we'll be back!

Breakfast alone could have kept us another night. It was exceptionally good and well stocked, with fresh fruit, cold cuts, all the expected choices, great croissants and pastries, and next level cakes. The building and rooms are lovely, renovated beautifully, with comfortable beds and every amenity we could ask for. You can tell care went into the fit out and furnishings, with designer pieces and high end lamps balanced against the building's history without overdoing the renovation. We also ate at their Trattoria in Sondrio and loved the olive oil. Olmo arranged a few bottles for us to take home and delivered them to the hotel the next morning since ordinary stores didn't carry it. Great service.

A mountain drive brings you to this calm, minimalist place, where warm wood and carefully chosen details make it easy to relax. Agroturismo Olmo mixes old traditions with an industrial modern look without losing its sense of place. Breakfast each morning featured farm produce, including well cooked eggs, salami, house cured bresaola, artisanal cheeses, and creamy yogurt. Trattoria Olmo is just steps from the main house. Its traditional Italian dishes include handmade pasta, slow roasted meats, and vegetable ragùs, all cooked beautifully with a home grown taste. The Olmo house brew is a rich amber ale with local flavours and went very well with the food. We had a memorable stay, with warm, attentive service from arrival to departure, and can't wait to return.

Tessa, you're a gem. Thanks for helping us with our son, sharing your duties with him, and giving us a little time to ourselves. We'll always remember that hospitality. Olmo, thanks for the ride and for arranging the bus into town too. Staying at your inn made our journey better. It was such a comforting place to rest, find some peace and happiness, and catch our breath.
