The property sits among olive trees in the hills of Sonnino, and its modern design fits naturally into the landscape. Inside, antique furniture and objects give the place a strong sense of history and charm. The owner’s warmth made our vacation feel like a family visit. She was attentive and available whenever we needed something, and her care for the property shows in all the little details. The atmosphere was serene and welcoming throughout. Every part of our stay felt thoughtfully looked after, and it was a fairytale of a vacation. Tenuta Palma is a distinctive, beautiful place that will stay in our hearts. We’d suggest it to couples after a romantic escape, families wanting a relaxing stay, or anyone hoping to enjoy nature somewhere with history and character. You’ll be welcomed with real warmth. If zero had been an option, I would have chosen it. The property itself is good, but it’s not especially suitable for children. It wasn’t clean, and I saw no sign of Covid precautions. Mrs. Luigina is described as the caretaker, but she is actually the estate’s owner. I found her intrusive, presumptuous, disrespectful, greedy, and lacking in humanity. Her house is in the middle of the estate, near the pool, pizza oven, and barbecue, and she watches what’s going on. Even when you don’t see her, she sees you. It was a stay to forget, and I strongly advise anyone who has the time to avoid going.

The breakfast, with treats from the estate, was excellent, and we left completely satisfied. Luigina, the owner, welcomed us warmly and let us enjoy the beauty of her work. Luigina was such a gracious host, always courteous and happy to help. She welcomed us with a basket of freshly picked figs. The place was clean, comfortable, and well equipped, a peaceful oasis just 20 minutes from the sea.
