We were lucky to meet the owner during our few days here. He’s very kind and pleasant, and knows the area well, with real passion for it. He took us to the megalithic complex of Biru and Concas and talked through the menhirs in remarkable detail, like a real scholar and archaeology enthusiast. The charming B&B has everything and sits amid greenery. The San Mauro area, named after the 13th-century country church and eight kilometers from Sorgono, brings a sense of inner peace and restorative energy. Thank you.

A quiet B&B surrounded by greenery, where all you hear are sheep and crickets. Thanks for being so hospitable. The kitchen is a bit dated, but it has the basics.

We rode here from Rome on a motorcycle, but our itinerary meant we could only stay one night. We’ll definitely return. It’s a beautiful B&B surrounded by greenery, a special spot if you’re after peace and quiet. Many thanks to Massimo for showing us part of this spectacular land and sharing the story of the menhirs.

We enjoyed the peaceful walks through the surrounding vineyards and woods, and the property is close to the Sanctuary of San Mauro and the Biru and Concas Archaeological Park. The park has menhirs dating back to 3,300 BC, the Protonuraghe, and the Village of the Giants. The apartment itself is lovely, comfortable, and self-contained, with good furnishings and the basics for cooking and breakfast, plus a beautiful garden. Mr. Massimo was very helpful and offered to guide us through the menhir park. He knows it extremely well and made the visit truly evocative. Congratulations on the property, the welcome, and the preparation that went into the tour.

There’s no Wi-Fi or TV, which I found a huge plus because it let us enjoy the place without distractions. The setting, surrounded by greenery and quiet, is worth more than any service. The place was clean and welcoming, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The owner was extremely kind and available for requests. He had firewood ready for the fireplace, guided us around the nearby archaeological area, and suggested other historically important sites in the area. I recommend it for anyone wanting a break from city stress and who enjoys nature and authentic Sardinia.
