The apartment is a handy base for seeing both shores of Lake Como, set on the riverbank in a striking spot near where the river meets the lake. It’s in a district of Sorico on the western shore of Lake Mera, around 2,000 meters from Sorico center. As of autumn 2023, Casa Mattia had two apartments for rent, but one was permanently occupied and only the slightly smaller one was available. Other apartments on the property are listed as Casa Leonardo da Vinci, as shown in the picture. The available apartment has a kitchen-living room, a bathroom, and two bedrooms, one triple and one double. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a toaster, microwave, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, and both espresso and filter coffee machines. There’s free parking and Wi-Fi, a furnished small balcony, and a furnished outdoor seating area, plus access to a barbecue area and lawn for sunbathing.
