Hotel Europa

Breakfast was a buffet with plenty to choose from, and the family running Hotel Europa looked after us so well. The owner greeted us warmly and let us look at several rooms before choosing one. Our room was very comfortable, and the hotel was clean and pleasant. It’s right by the lake in the quieter, less touristy north of Como. With a car, it’s easy to explore the lake and return to this peaceful spot. A lovely family-run place, and we’d definitely recommend it.

Get the breakfast if you stay here, it’s exquisite. The beds are good, and it’s very child friendly. This is a really nice, underrated hotel with a great atmosphere. A close-knit family runs it, and you can tell in how well everything is maintained.

The whole place had a lovely mix of comfort, charm, and heartfelt hospitality, and we’d absolutely return. It was the best stop of our road trip through Italy, with a stunning setting, beautifully designed rooms, a calm atmosphere, and thoughtful details throughout. We were traveling with my wife Amira and our six-month-old baby Sara, which can be hard as any parent knows. From the moment we arrived, though, we felt welcomed and supported. Mattia was especially kind and professional, greeted us warmly, and was always ready to help or share advice. Thanks for making our stay memorable, Mattia, and happy birthday! We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the region, whether on a road trip, a romantic break, or with family.

The author's guide showed us just how much there is to do around the hotel and Lake Como. We enjoyed tasty breakfasts with mountain views each morning over our six days. Hotel Europa has a welcoming family atmosphere, pleasant decor with attention to detail, and was kept clean. Thank you for a lovely stay.
