A Suites

We felt at home in the Rainbow suite during our two nights there. It was clean, with modern, practical furniture, and had water, tea and coffee ready for us. Mariano was easy to reach and really attentive. He gave us tips for getting around Sorrento and explained how to reach the Amalfi coast and Pompeii. We’d happily return and recommend the place.

The colorful decor was a hit with the kids, and I’ll admit I enjoyed it too. Our family booked five rooms, all clean and well kept, with private balconies. We were welcomed with warm pizza, and every room had complimentary water, soda, juice and wine, plus food vouchers for breakfast at a nearby restaurant. The place is a little away from the main crowds, but it’s only a three-minute walk to the fun. I’d worried the beach would be far, but it’s just a few more minutes away, then a 20-second ride down in a lift. It was a very welcoming stay, and some of the cleanest rooms I’ve stayed in overseas. I couldn’t find a flaw, though I wasn’t looking for one.

The main road outside means you can hear the traffic, as the building isn’t soundproof. Inside, though, the Rainbow room was very clean and had two separate bedrooms. The shower was extra large with a big shower head and a handheld hose. The pressure from the head wasn’t great, so we used the hose. I mentioned it to the owner when we left, and he said he hadn’t known and would send someone. There was complimentary water and wine in the fridge, a safe in the bedroom, and a mini clothes stand with pegs. One bedroom had a kettle and three mugs, while the reception area had tea, coffee, sugar, milk, biscuits, individually wrapped plastic cutlery with serviettes, and spare toilet rolls. Communication was good throughout booking and our stay, and the instructions for getting into the suite and finding the keys were clear. They also arranged a taxi to the ferry port for our departure.

Anna greeted us when we arrived and was so friendly and helpful. She shared lots of information and even offered to book excursions for us. We stayed three nights, and the room was clean and nicely furnished. Towels were replaced daily and the room was made up, which I hadn’t expected. Great value, and I’d recommend it and stay again.
