The lack of working amenities and cleanliness was disappointing, even though the place itself is spacious and the bathroom is roomy. The AC showed an “H6” error, which I understood to mean the internal fan wasn’t working, and we had no AC for the whole stay. I told the landlord, who said to turn on the fan, but that didn’t get the AC working. I asked again, and he said he’d sent someone, but we got no update and nothing was fixed. It was hot and muggy the whole time. There was a clump of hair by the shower head, and we found cockroaches and ants, including lots of ants outside the front door. I saw that another recent reviewer had mentioned the AC too. The manager didn’t reply to my request for a partial refund. This was the worst property we booked on our Italy trip.

We really enjoyed being here in the heat. In the evenings it was cooler than the city center, and there’s a garden-like area at the apartment, which was a real bonus near the beach. The beach is a two-minute walk away, with boat rental agencies offering very affordable prices and restaurants serving traditional food, seafood and drinks. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed. The hostess was lovely and friendly, and shared useful information about nearby places. The center, with its restaurants and tourist shops, was about a 15-minute walk.

The location is good, and the entry instructions were clear. The house looked clean, but there was no shower gel, even after I spoke to the host. Worse, there was a bed bug in the single bed.

We were really happy here, especially with how close it is to the beach. There were a few small issues, but they sorted them out quickly. Speaking for our group of seven Latinos, I recommend it and would come back.
