Mavi and Nadia were lovely hosts and great cooks, and every breakfast was served when we wanted it. We traveled with two other couples, and all of us felt safe, welcome and pampered. The rooms were spacious, with lovely town views, comfortable beds and well-stocked bathrooms. There was a large shared area with several places to sit, plus water, tea and freshly made cake available around the clock. Thanks for making our time in Sorrento so memorable.

For an authentic stay in Italy, I’d recommend Accademia 39. The location was great, the rooms were bright and cheerful, and the beds were wonderful. Mavi and Nadia were fantastic hosts, warm and helpful with everything we needed. Nadia even found us a last-minute guide for Pompeii, Paulo, who was very knowledgeable and spoke great English. Mavi also sent us to La Maison Douce, an amazing restaurant we liked so much we ate there twice. Staying here was the best part of our trip to Sorrento. We’ll be back :)

We were a group of six and felt very comfortable. Nadia and Mauve were wonderful hosts, and their dinner suggestions were great. The balcony looked lovely with its lemon trees and flowers.

We felt safe and right in the middle of Sorrento’s historic shopping district. We’re usually traditional hotel people, but we couldn’t have been happier with Accademia 39. We stayed three nights across three rooms, and Mavi was a wonderful host with fantastic hospitality for our group. Allesandra and Mavi were in touch before our trip, and they let us drop off and pick up our bags early and late. Breakfast and cappuccino were thoughtfully prepared each morning, with snacks and water left out in the evening. The complimentary minibar items were a nice touch. The beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms and showers were spacious. We loved our stay.

We had a very good two-night stay. The rooms were large, clean and nicely decorated, and the location made it easy to get around the city on foot. Communication was excellent. I’d definitely recommend this hotel.
