Al Parco Verde B&B

The service and thoughtful extras are what made this place stand out. Our room was very clean and had a nice balcony, and Michele was a friendly, helpful host. Breakfast was superb.

Our room, Rose, didn't have a kitchenette, though at least one other room apparently does. There were a few small things inside that could use a refresh or upgrade, but we were otherwise very comfortable. The balcony was a big plus, especially since breakfast could be served there, and ours had a particularly lovely view through the gap between the apartment blocks opposite and out into the distance. Michele was friendly and helpful, and there's convenient parking very close by. Piazza Tasso, Sorrento's main square and the starting point for the main shopping and dining areas, is about a 15-minute walk. We enjoy walking, so that was fine for us, but it may matter if you need to get around quickly. We'd recommend staying here.

The room had a two-burner stove, sink, and pots, and the bathroom was great, with good lighting, strong water pressure, and a full-length mirror. Breakfast was good too, and there are restaurants and a grocery store nearby. Michele gave us some great recommendations and can arrange tours. Al Parco Verde is in a quiet apartment block, with a direct, easy walk into busy central Sorrento. We reached the ferry to Capri in under 10 minutes. There’s an elevator in the building.

The beds were really comfortable, and the room was amazing for the price. Michele is a fantastic host, friendly, attentive to the details, and always helpful. We also loved the excellent breakfast, a great way to start the day. The location is great too. If I return to Sorrento, I wouldn't even consider staying anywhere else.
