For what we paid, this hotel was just right. The location was excellent, the staff were really kind, and our room was clean and cute, with a waterfall shower. My one gripe was the hard, uncomfortable bed and pillows. If you're booking an economy place and then getting upset about water pressure or slow Wi-Fi, you probably want to book a five-star hotel instead.

The room was at the back, so street noise wasn't too bad. It was spacious and had a mini-fridge, and there's a lift up to the second floor. Check-in at noon was early, though checkout at 10:00 came early too. Guests can use the washer and dryer for €10 a load, soap included, but there was a queue the night we wanted to do laundry. Staff were friendly. You get one physical key and leave it at the desk whenever you go out.

The hotel sits right on the main street, which makes getting around the city easy. That also means noise from below can carry on late into the night. The staff were accommodating and friendly, and the 24-hour reception made the unusual room-key routine understandable: we handed it in each time we went out for the day. A decent, average hotel with some compromises.

Getting around was easy from this hotel's location, close to the main attractions. The stay itself disappointed me. The staff could be bossy and sometimes rude, and all the strict rules made things feel rigid instead of relaxing. Breakfast wasn't appealing either. It sat out in the heat, which hurt the freshness and taste, and the food was pretty average. The advertised free Wi-Fi was extremely unreliable, or didn't work at all. The location gives the hotel potential, but the hospitality and food service need serious work before I'd consider returning.

We only managed about four hours of sleep in the room, from 2 to 6. Street conversations carried up until 2 or 3 am, and by 6 am we could hear staff setting up the breakfast tables. I mentioned it, but the hotel had no other room available for us. If you're less sensitive to noise, or get one of the quieter rooms, you may have a different stay. We were there for two nights. The front desk staff were very polite and helpful, and the location is right in the middle of Sorrento. The rooms were good, though not perfect, and breakfast was okay.
