Ara Maris Hotel & Spa

We found Ara Maris wonderfully calm, even though it's just around the corner from the main square. At the pool, everything we needed was thought of, and the birds were about all we could hear. Our room had lovely views, great amenities, and the most ridiculously comfortable bed. The place feels fresh, spacious, and luxurious. The rooftop tapas was such a good idea, with a great summer feel and breathtaking views. Dinner at the restaurant was refined and elegant, honestly extraordinary. You can tell the chef cares a lot about the food. I also got to try a hot stone massage at the spa, and it was heavenly, so peaceful. The staff were warm, attentive, and clearly passionate about hospitality. Ara Maris felt like home, but with plenty of charm and luxury. Sorrento is somewhere I'd go back to in a heartbeat, and I hope to return to the hotel too. I'd highly recommend it.

The location is incredible, just steps from the center, and the hotel even has a golf cart for quick trips down the road. The room views were wonderful, and the pool was great. We also loved the rooftop bar and its view, and I went up several times during our stay. My husband and I spent five lovely days and four nights at Ara Maris. Everyone we encountered was kind, from the front desk and concierge to the spa team and beyond. Before we arrived, the concierge helped arrange transportation. During the stay, they answered our local questions and helped with rides. Housekeeping checked in two or three times a day to make sure we had everything. The spa was excellent. We had a couples massage, and both the masseuse and the local oils were wonderful. We hope to come back soon. Thank you, Ara Maris, for such a great vacation!

The water view from our balcony was worth it on its own. We had a mix-up with the driver for our day in Positano, and the concierge and check-in teams jumped in right away to sort it out. They gave us terrific service throughout our stay. The location was perfect for walking around Sorrento, and I'd highly recommend this hotel.

The service was fantastic everywhere, from the front desk and restaurant to housekeeping and concierge. This is a lovely modern hotel right in the heart of Sorrento, with beautiful rooms and big bathrooms. Some rooms look out to the sea. The grounds are nice, the pool is beautiful, and the location is excellent.
