The spot that really made the stay for me was the sunbathing dock over the water, with bar service right there. I could swim in the sea, take in the views, and slow down for a while, a perfect bit of il dolce far niente. Europa Palace also had consistently excellent service and a delicious breakfast, with fresh options like made-to-order omelets, pastries, fruit, juices, coffee, and prosecco. I arrived late after a long travel day, and the staff were kind and accommodating, which made me feel at home right away. The hotel feels spacious and elegant, with beautiful shared areas and a back terrace looking toward Mount Vesuvius across the water. Its location is convenient for walking into central Sorrento, while being a little less busy, and the bus station across the street made getting around easy. I had a wonderful stay and would absolutely return.

From our deck, we watched a different sunset each night over the Bay of Naples, with Mount Vesuvius, Capri, and the coastline in view. Our room faced the iconic volcano and had sweeping panoramas, so sitting outside and taking it all in was a real pleasure. Breakfast was included and served in a grand, spacious dining room with large windows over the bay. The staff were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. We stayed six nights at Europa Palace in Sorrento, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. Piazza Tasso is a short walk away, with plenty of restaurants within 10-15 minutes, and the hotel is right by the town center and easy to reach.

I’ve never stayed anywhere as beautiful or extravagant. Every member of staff was top class, and I can’t recommend the hotel enough. My wife and I are so glad we picked it for our honeymoon. I hope we can return one day!

The waterfront view from our room was spectacular, and everything was perfectly clean and neat. We also had a tasty, filling breakfast with made-to-order omelettes and more. It’s a beautiful, underrated hotel, with professional, friendly staff and restaurants and shops only a short walk away. I hope to come back another time.

The staff were so kind, and they even surprised us with a free room upgrade. The whole place felt elegant but still welcoming, with everything clean, modern, and well cared for. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend it for the comfort and service.
