Magi House Relais

The personal feel at Magi House was lovely, unlike what you always get at a big hotel. The staff were so helpful and attentive. Luca welcomed us at the front desk and was always there with answers and local tips, and Maina helped us every morning at breakfast. The complimentary breakfast bar, with all the pastries you could want, was a nice surprise. We stayed seven nights, and our room was spotless and just right for three adults. The location puts you right in the heart of Sorrento, five minutes on foot from the beach and ten from Marina Grande and the ferry port. We had an amazing trip and would definitely stay again!

We stayed in the penthouse, which spread over two floors and even had a kitchen. Getting up there meant climbing 59 stairs, with no elevator, but you can’t have everything. Breakfast was terrific in the small breakfast room, where we met other travelers. Each morning there were freshly cooked eggs any style, plus breads, fruit, yogurt, and quiches. Magi is right in the busy historic center, among lots of shops and restaurants, and close to the ferries for Capri and Positano. The staff were helpful and gave us great dinner recommendations. We enjoyed it so much and would highly recommend it!

The location was the standout for me, right in the center of everything, about three minutes from the port and just as close to the main street and square. The staff were amazing and helped with anything we needed. Our room was perfect, with complimentary wine and snacks in a full-size fridge and freezer, plus a microwave, coffee facilities, and TVs downstairs and in the bedroom upstairs. This place is a hidden gem in a city full of them. I’ll definitely be back.

The rooftop breakfast buffet was great, and the service went above and beyond. Everything about this lovely boutique hotel feels brand new. It’s right in the heart of Sorrento, surrounded by restaurants and an easy walk from the pier. I’d definitely come back.
