We spent a lot of time enjoying the pools, jacuzzi, and rooftop bar, which made it easy to unwind. Hotel Michelangelo is also beautifully kept and clean, and the main streets, markets, restaurants, and port are only a few minutes away on foot. It was our first stop on our Italy trip and got the vacation off to a lovely start. We'd gladly return and recommend it to anyone coming to Sorrento.

We came back for a day trip after staying here for a two week holiday 20 years ago. The hotel is still just as beautiful and special. We only stopped at the roof terrace for drinks this time, but we'll be back soon.

The location made sightseeing easy, with the town and train station close by. We stayed a week in annex room 121. It was basic, but had what we needed, was spotless, and even came with a little outdoor terrace, which was a nice extra. The breakfast had plenty of hot and cold choices, and the waiting staff were friendly and helpful. The pool area was closed until May, but there were loungers and seats by the bar and on the rooftop terrace, with great views and a big jacuzzi. The one downside up there was the piped music. It made it hard to enjoy some peace and read. Since people can listen to music on their phones with headphones, a quiet area would be welcome. Sorrento has loads of places to eat. Francos pizzeria, two minutes from the hotel, was especially good and great value. I had worried before the trip after seeing some negative reviews of the annexe, but found it clean and comfortable. It seems like a good budget option.

Staff were great, and parking was straightforward for an extra fee. The room was clean, quiet, and very good. The shower had strong water pressure, and breakfast was included. The location was wonderful.
