On Michele Guest house

We were really glad we picked this guest house for our time in Sorrento. Michele's family made us feel welcome and were very friendly and helpful. The place has a lovely, genuine Italian charm, and we really enjoyed our stay.

Breakfast was a real treat, with lots of tasty homemade food, and the rooms were spotless, spacious, and comfortable. Michele and his family made us feel at home from the start. The guest house may look a little away from the center, but it's only about 15 minutes away and you can take a bus in either direction. Michele went out of his way to make our stay as good as possible. It was one of the highlights of our trip, and I’d definitely recommend staying with him in Sorrento.

The homemade cakes and jam Michele’s mother served at breakfast were one of my favourite parts of the stay. The B&B sits on Michele’s family property in the hills, around a 20-minute walk from the city centre, and the walk back is a steep climb. Michele even drove us to and from the station when we arrived and left, and everyone made us feel welcome. The rooms are modern, very clean, and cozy, with daily housekeeping. Michele installed the lights himself. There’s WiFi, a hairdryer, mini fridge, soaps, shower cap, bidet, and other basics. The area still has a traditional feel. My only gripe was a slight dip in the bed, but this was my favourite place of our Italy trip. 10/10, I’d recommend it and come back.

The gluten-free breakfast basket was such a thoughtful touch since I’m allergic, and my fiancé really enjoyed the fresh home-cooked breakfast too. Michele gave us lots of useful information and made sure we were well looked after. The modern apartment had everything we needed. We spent four nights at On Michele and would happily recommend it to everyone we know.
