Palazzo Starace

We were three people and had two adjoining rooms with a shared bathroom. Housekeeping was excellent, and the front desk staff were very friendly and pointed out popular local places. They also arranged an early taxi back to Naples and packed breakfast for us. The stay is conveniently placed among the busy streets, and amenities included breakfast, a kettle for tea, towels, shower gel, liquid hand soap, a closet, and a safe.

The breakfast was lovely, and the balcony had a beautiful view. Staff were kind and easy to approach. The property sits right in the heart of Sorrento, just a few minutes on foot from the train and bus stations and within walking distance of the sea. I had a great stay and would definitely come back!

This bed and breakfast has a nice location and cute balconies overlooking the street. It was fun to sit outside and watch the activity, though the street also gets noisy at night. Breakfast was excellent. My main frustration was the shower: it wouldn’t drain, so water flooded the whole bathroom every single day.

I asked the hotel to arrange a taxi transfer to Naples airport, and they booked a great service that was a big help. The staff were very nice, and the property was clean and well located. I enjoyed having breakfast outdoors on the balcony, and the usual city sounds didn’t bother me. The AC worked well, even during some very hot days. It stopped when the room was empty, so it took a little while to cool down after I got back, but I was quite satisfied with the temperature throughout my stay.
