We spent three nights here, and the free shuttle into the city centre was very convenient. Breakfast was great, especially the fresh orange juice. There’s also a dinner restaurant with good food at reasonable prices. Get the lemon gelato to finish the meal. I’d recommend booking a sea-view room, the view is wonderful.

We stayed for eight nights in a roomy, lovely room with a gorgeous sea view. The hotel is high up, but Mr Dino always drove us down to Sorrento’s main plaza, so getting there wasn’t a problem. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting southern Italy.

We’ll definitely come back. The owner is very nice, the atmosphere is lovely, and the whole hotel was so clean. From the balcony, the view is incredible. There’s parking and a shuttle into town, and breakfast was really good, with juice from a fresh-orange machine. Trust me, you won’t regret staying here!

The free parking was useful for us since we’d rented a car. If you’d rather relax and take public transport, the complimentary shuttle drops you at a central spot in Sorrento, within walking distance of the pier and train or bus station. Hotel IL Nido and Restaurant sits on a hill, with rooms looking over Sorrento Bay and Mt. Vesuvius. We could sit for hours taking in the peaceful view. Breakfast and dinner were both delicious, and every staff member we met was friendly and welcoming. We had a fantastic stay, thanks for having us. We hope to return soon.
