The rooms and the floor we stayed on were incredible and very well kept. The building itself is a little old and shabby, though. It’s centrally placed, close to the station, bus stop, and port, and about a kilometer from the train station. Lisa may be there to serve breakfast, and she’s the warmest, sweetest host, putting together an incredible meal. This was a very comfortable stay. If you’re not after a fancy hotel, I really don’t think you’ll find a better option in Sorrento.

Lisa and Francesco made sure our family of four had a memorable visit. The place was very comfortable, and the location was hard to beat, right in the middle of everything we wanted to see and do in Sorrento.

That big, lovely terrace gave us plenty of room to hang out together. Our room at Sersale Suites was beautiful, and the staff were great, especially Marco and Lisa. They helped arrange tours, suggested local restaurants, and served a generous breakfast each morning. Definitely recommend it.

Breakfast was delicious, and our room was spotless. Everyone was welcoming and the service was great. The hotel is close to Sorrento’s main streets and attractions, with a grocery store right across the street. Getting there was straightforward: take the lift by the port, then it’s a short walk of about 5-7 minutes.

We booked two suites at Hotel Sersale through Booking.com for June 20-23, but had to cancel after a national emergency beyond our control led to all flights being canceled. I explained the situation immediately and asked for a refund or a fair alternative. We later saw that both rooms had been booked again for those same dates, yet the hotel charged us the full amount and refused to consider compensation. Eventually they stopped replying altogether. The way this was handled was deeply disappointing: poor communication and service, and no empathy. I found the customer service unprofessional and the treatment unacceptable.
