For our three nights, this was a clean, comfortable base for exploring Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast. The rooms and private bathrooms were kept clean, and staff regularly changed the towels and sheets. The apartments are simple, but fine for the price. Breakfast isn't included, though you can book it separately. The main plus is the location. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to the centre, handy for catching buses or ferries to Positano, Amalfi, and Capri. Check-in and any questions for staff are handled at the Gardenia Hotel, directly across the road. I'd recommend it for a short spontaneous trip or if you want an affordable place with good public transport links. Personally, for a longer stay I'd probably pay a bit more for a full hotel and extra comfort.

The apartment had all the practical things we needed, including an iron and board, washing machine and powder, and kitchen roll. It was very clean, and we didn't need to ask for anything. With temperatures over 30 degrees outside, the air conditioning was a lifesaver. The flat stayed cool and well ventilated. We were in one of the private apartments across from the hotel, but could use its facilities and swimming pool. The staff made us feel just as welcome there. The hotel also offers excursions, which I'd recommend. It's less than a kilometre from the historic quarter, with easy access to the train and bus stations for trips to places like Pompeii and Naples. We loved our stay and plan to come back. Thanks to our wonderful host and the hotel staff for making the holiday so special.
