Sorrento Nest Rose

We stayed for five nights in September 2024, and the apartment didn’t feel worth what we paid. We picked it for five adults because it was near the train station and other amenities, and we needed two bathrooms and five beds. We booked about two months before booking our flights. Sorrento, Naples, and Rome were all expensive for our stay, but this one still cost a lot. At first it seemed fine, but looking closer, some taps were coming out of the wall and the window ratchets were broken, so the windows wouldn’t open. The sofa was old too, and the place really needs updating. There were rubbish bags left behind by the previous guests, and the owner hadn’t removed them. He told us what day to put rubbish outside for collection, but we forgot because the instructions weren’t written down. The owner said he lived in Naples, not Sorrento, and we waited about ten minutes outside the building before he arrived to let us in at 3 pm. He collected local tax from us but gave no receipt. Overall, he didn’t seem professional in how he dealt with us, and I wouldn’t recommend the apartment.
