Villa Oriana Relais

My husband and I came from Switzerland in the summer and felt right at home. Our room was lovely and clean, the view was fantastic, and the hosts were very friendly. We’d wholeheartedly recommend it. Thank you! ♥️

For four nights, Villa Oriana Relais gave us such a peaceful place to stay just outside Sorrento’s busy center. The views were stunning, and the property was spotless and very well kept. Whenever we needed something, the professional, kind staff responded right away. Maria, the owner, was especially warm and polite. She made sure guests were happy and prepared a delicious breakfast herself each morning. This is by far the best place we’ve ever stayed, and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sorrento.

Breakfast at Villa Oriana was the best we had during our three weeks in Italy. Maria and her sister were up at 5 baking cakes and quiche, with meats, cheeses, yogurt, cereal, fruit and plenty more to choose from. The food was even better with our daily chats with Maria, who was warm and fascinating. Our extended family of seven had four of the villa’s six rooms for five nights. Maria and the staff did everything they could to make the stay perfect. The rooms were spacious, peaceful, beautiful and comfortable, with bathrooms stocked with amenities. After 24 hours of travel, we were welcomed into the property among the orange and lemon trees, served lemon juice and cake while our bags were carried in, and slept wonderfully that first night. We loved the roughly 20-minute walk into central Sorrento. It starts with a shortcut lined with cats, then follows the main road, where we window-shopped and stopped for chocolate along the way. The hotel sits a little outside town, so we had amazing views across Sorrento and into the distance. I stayed here for my 50th in April and wanted to share how lovely the experience was. Our room was beautifully decorated, the host was great, and the service was a 10 out of 10. Breakfast was a gorgeous spread of homemade pastries. Eating them on the terrace with Italy’s coastline in view was stunning. I hope I get to come back one day.
