This place is a little remote, so you'll need a car, but it's a great base for exploring Tuscany. The house is at the edge of a tiny, charming village, with idyllic grounds and birdsong in the morning. Their friendly donkey might come say hello, and the fenced pigs and horses do too. Christina and her husband were kind, quick to respond, and full of helpful recommendations. The house has everything you need, with a classic exterior and a clean, updated interior that's full of comforts. You can tell it's been looked after with love, and the beds are comfy. You could easily fall for this bit of the Tuscan countryside.

Getting there along the winding road is an adventure, and farm smells come with the experience. We loved the village and had a perfect stay. Christina went out of her way to help, showed us the family farm, and we bought their homemade salami. Her dad was sorting fresh chestnuts and sent some home with us. The animals were adorable, and the two dogs became our pals. Thanks for such a wonderful visit!

We had a lovely BBQ lunch from very friendly hosts, and the pork was excellent. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The location doesn't give you a great view of the winery, though.

During our honeymoon through Venice, Florence, Siena and Rome, this was easily our best stay. The hosts were so friendly and knew the area well. It's peaceful, and it's worth asking what experiences are available. We had a dinner made with locally sourced ingredients, one of the best meals of our trip. We hope to come back sometime.

The fireflies at night, farm animals and rolling Tuscan hills make it feel like a storybook. A real bucket list stay, with amazing service that makes you feel like family.
