Claudio made us feel very welcome. The apartment is nicely equipped and in a great spot for exploring Spello’s old town. We’d stay here again if we return.

The main drawback for us was the bathroom, which is across from the bedrooms and a little awkward to get to during the night. The house itself was very clean and spacious, in a historic building on the first floor, though the stairs are rather steep. One bedroom has a fresco on the ceiling. Mr. Claudio met us in the parking lot and walked us to the house, sharing a little history of Spello. He was very kind.
