Il Torrione di Spello

We spent two weeks at Il Torrione, and the apartment was a lovely place to come back to after hot days out sightseeing. It was airy and spacious, spotlessly clean, and had plenty of wardrobe and drawer room, plus lots of towels and linen. The Wi-Fi was excellent. Our place looked onto a little square. There was a surprising amount going on there in the daytime, but nights were quiet. Cafes, restaurants, and a delightful general store in the nearby main square were all close by. Spello itself is a wonderful hilltop town.

The staff were attentive and really friendly, which made our two-night stay a pleasure. A great place to stay.

Torrione 1 is nicely furnished, and the vaulted ceilings and stone walls were what I liked most. It stays cool even on very hot days, so we didn't need air conditioning. The hosts were professional, kind, and helpful. I'd gladly stay again if I'm back in the area, and highly recommend it.

The owner was genuinely friendly, and the apartments are spacious and carefully kept. They're in Spello's historic center, with antique touches alongside modern furnishings. A handy spot for getting to Umbrian places like Assisi and Perugia, too.
