Quiet trails through the greenery and a fantastic pool make it easy to slow down here. Villa Lavanìa sits in the hills around Spello, close to Assisi, with lovely views, clean and elegant surroundings, and owners who are courteous, available, and never intrusive. It’s a great spot for hiking or just a walk, and a relaxing base for visiting the very different Umbrian villages nearby. Paradise, really. Highly recommended, and excellent value for money. Rating 10.

June felt like the right time to explore Umbria, and the owner's suggestions for villages and places to see were a real help. Mrs. Vania welcomed us warmly and was professional throughout. The elegant property was spotless, with a spectacular pool among the olive trees. My husband, children, and I had a wonderful stay, and I hope we can come back next year. Vania and Livio clearly care about every little detail, and their hospitality was so thoughtful. The villa is surrounded by greenery, spotless, and has all the comforts we needed. It’s well placed for getting to Assisi, Perugia, and other Umbrian villages, and the pool is a real gem. We love beautiful places, and this one was unforgettable.

July 2019 was a wonderful time for a holiday at this house. Vania and Livio are lovely owners, always helpful, and their hospitality is extraordinary. We hope to come back to see more of this beautiful region, and especially to see them again.
