The food had loads of flavour, and breakfast was simple but just right. It’s a cute little traditional house, with basic beds and warm, friendly people. It really felt like home. If that’s the kind of simple, cosy place you’re after, I’d suggest it.

A cosy, old-fashioned hotel, though the rooms could use some updating and air conditioning. On warm days you have to open the windows, and if you’re in a front room like we were, the traffic wakes you very early. Breakfast was simple but enough.

It’s noisy, being right on the main road, and smells from the kitchen at the entrance rise up the stairs to the rooms. The rooms are tiny, with a 2.8 sqm bathroom, and the entrance, stairs and corridors are cramped too. The building was renovated in 1987. The owners weren’t very courteous, and the price is too high for the hotel’s age and poor quality.

The staff were great about helping us switch rooms after some last-minute changes to our larger group. The accommodation was excellent too. We chose half board and found it well worth it: breakfast had lots of choice, and each morning we picked from 2-3 dinner options. The food was delicious and really hit the spot after skiing. Being able to arrange ski passes for nearby resorts directly through them made planning easier. We had a great time, even if this review is a bit late. We’d happily recommend it for a comfortable, hassle-free ski trip. Thanks to the staff for a lovely stay!
